Recently, I had the enormous pleasure of performing at the launch of 100 Women I Know- a timely collection of real stories of sexual assault.
Foolishly, thrillingly, proudly, I will spend August performing daily in two shows. One is my solo show, Mabel and Mickey, about which information can be found in the 'Big Projects' section of this website. The other is Duckpond, written by my sketch partner and sometime pal Ciaran Chillingworth.
I'm lucky enough to be a part of the Roundhouse Poetry Collective, and this Sunday was our second sharing, and the final time we'll be performing all together until our Last Word Festival show in June.
Every morning, the first thing I do when I wake up is write three pages, longhand- a leftover from the many times I've tried and failed to get through Julia Cameron's The Artist's Way.
